As the sun dipped below the marina at East Hampton Point, guests gathered for one of the season’s most heartwarming events – ARF Hamptons‘ Second Annual Rescues & Rosé. Hosted by the organization’s Young Professionals Committee at The Boathouse at East Hampton Point, the early summer cocktail party blended Hamptons elegance with a meaningful cause: supporting homeless cats and dogs in need of loving homes.

The evening offered everything one would expect from a quintessential Hamptons celebration. Rosé from Wölffer Estate Vineyard flowed throughout the night alongside craft beer from Kidd Squid Brewing Co., signature cocktails, refreshing mocktails by poppi, and a full open bar. Guests mingled while enjoying elevated hors d’oeuvres, music by DJ GR1FN, and live portrait painting by Kathryn McCabe Art.

Fashion also played a starring role. Attendees were treated to an exclusive preview of J.McLaughlin’s new Summer Collection, including pieces from the brand’s collaboration with renowned interior designer Mark D. Sikes. Against a backdrop of waterfront views and a spectacular sunset, the event perfectly captured the effortless sophistication that defines summer in the Hamptons.

Yet despite the fashionable crowd and flowing rosé, the true stars of the evening walked on four legs.

Throughout the event, guests had the opportunity to meet ARF Hamptons’ adoptable cats and dogs, many of whom eagerly accepted cuddles, treats, and photo opportunities. The shelter animals quickly became the center of attention, reminding attendees of the organization’s mission and the impact their support makes possible.

Among those in attendance were philanthropists, business leaders, and members of the Hamptons social scene, all coming together to support ARF’s lifesaving rescue and adoption programs. The event was organized by ARF Hamptons’ dedicated Young Professionals Committee, whose efforts continue to bring a new generation of supporters to the organization’s cause.

A memorable group photo captured several committee members alongside some of ARF’s adoptable pets, including Elizabeth Mellgard Nelson, Paget Stanco with Yukon, Gloria Dios, Alyssa Moudis with Libby, Daniel Spelman, Lindsay Berman, Amelia Kaneff with Milan, Skyler Moran, Charlotte Havemeyer, Skylar Borucke-Tocci with Bam Bam, Meghan Bozek, and Kimberly Dautenhahn.

Proceeds from the evening will directly support ARF Hamptons’ work providing shelter, medical care, food, and rehabilitation for homeless animals while helping them find permanent, loving homes.

Founded in 1974, ARF Hamptons has become one of the region’s most respected animal welfare organizations, caring for thousands of cats and dogs over the decades. In addition to its rescue and adoption services, the organization operates a pet food pantry, offers free spay and neuter clinics for feral cats, and provides year-round dog training and socialization programs.

As guests raised their glasses beneath the pastel hues of an East Hampton sunset, the message of the evening was clear: great parties may bring people together, but compassion changes lives. At Rescues & Rosé, both were in abundant supply.
